Track 3: Zephyr Open Source Real-Time Operating System

ewCN Conference will be working closely with Zephyr® on a call for papers.

With the deep integration of industrial automation, edge intelligence and the Industrial Internet, the demand for open-source operating systems with high real-time performance, robust security and cross-architecture compatibility continues to surge for industrial embedded terminals. As one of the fastest-growing open-source real-time operating systems worldwide, Zephyr has become a core technical choice for scenarios such as smart manufacturing, industrial sensing, edge computing nodes and intelligent equipment, thanks to its modular architecture, native support for multiple chip architectures, complete industrial protocol stack and systematic security capabilities. It also serves as a key carrier connecting the embedded open-source ecosystem with the real industrial economy.

Closely aligned with CIIF’s core industrial themes of intelligent manufacturing, industrial connectivity, green & low-carbon development and high-end equipment, this track covers core directions including Zephyr kernel performance optimization, industrial protocol & edge gateway adaptation, functional safety and cybersecurity system construction, edge AI on-device deployment, toolchain engineering practice, localization ecosystem co-construction, and industrial implementation cases across multiple fields, aiming to bridge the value chain from underlying technology innovation to industrial scenario adoption.

The special Zephyr session topics shall give an overview of new technology trends. The special topics of the Zephyr session will include:
